About New Thought Author C. Alan Anderson

C. Alan Anderson was a pioneer in giving New Thought a presence on the World Wide Web, establishing the first New Thought Movement website.

Alan Anderson received his Doctorate degree in Philosophy from the Boston University. His doctoral dissertation was titled "Horatio W. Dresser and the Philosophy of New Thought," which was later published in enlarged and illustrated form in 1993 by Garland Publishing as Healing Hypothesis. Alan was also part of a team of editors assisting Ervin Seale in publishing the complete works of New Thought father, Phineas Parkhurst Quimby. Alan also earned his degrees in political science, education and law.

C. Alan Anderson also teamed up with his wife Deb G. Whitehouse in much of his work. Both Alan and his wife were long-time scholars and educators of New Thought teachings and its history. The Anderson's became known as a husband-and-wife team. Both of them were also members of the Executive Board of the International New Thought Alliance (INTA) for many years. Deb Anderson was also the editor of the INTA's magazine, New Thought . The Anderson's collaborated on several books as well. C. Alan Anderson's most well known and celebrated achievement was for being the first individual to establish a presense on the internet for the New Thought Movement, by creating a New Thought website in 1995.
